Business Analyst role at PalTech is more of an art than science. This role offers an opportunity to peek into business aspects of the technology solutions and allows you to add creativity for making clients feel confident with our approaches and helping the internal development team to comprehend the requirements. Our existing BA team is very well experienced, and we practice continuous learning with focus on knowledge sharing. As a BA you will act as a bridge between development teams and clients. To add, the BA role at PalTech is a challenging role with a huge scope of learning from peers and through projects.
Job Responsibilities
Client Interactions: A Business Analyst must interact with clients to understand their business needs and communicate with the possible solutions. Prior and during the project, the business analysts will interact with clients regularly to gather new requirements/enhancements.
Requirements Documentation: A Business Analyst would be creating various documents based on the project scope and need. Some of them include Business Requirements Document, Functional Specifications Document, and Flowcharts etc.
Wireframes Creation: For better communication of features and user actions on application, Business Analysts will be using design tools like adobeXD, figma, Sketch etc. to create very simple wireframes.
Teamwork: As a BA, you will be working with product managers, project managers, development teams, peer BAs. It is very essential to have the ability to work effectively as a team member and understand every role’s perspective and their requirements. As a cross-functional member, stakeholder management shall play a part of the role.
Preferred Skills
- Must have 3+ years of overall healthcare industry/P&C Insurance domain expertise as a BA
- Must have hands on with BA functional areas: Flow Charts, Wireframing, Requirements Documentation
- Must have good communication skills to explain requirements with clarity
- Must have worked in client facing projects and performed the roles of scrum master/product owner
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking to solve complex business scenarios
- Should have good understanding on testing principles and processes
- Should be able to work with cross functional technical teams and able to understand basic technical terminologies with team
- Should have created presentations and demos to present the product features to clients
- Should have clear understanding of agile methodology and its principles
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Proven documentation skills with functional/domain expertise
Add-on Skills
- Hands-on experience with data using SQL scripting
- Bachelors in computer/IT engineering background + MBA from top tier institutes
- Experience with healthcare claims data or FHIR implementation
